Book Review: Tom Lake

Wow. I was not expecting to like this book as much as I did. It follows the story of a cherry farmer telling her three daughters how she used to date a famous actor. The story is so sweet and you can't help but feel as though you know her personally and that she is telling you the story. There are all the emotions in this one. It is a story of romance, friendships, and family dynamics and is set in a lovely backdrop of a family-owned cherry farm. It is a must-read and I couldn't recommend it enough. I listened to the audible book narrated by Meryl Streep and wow she is amazing and makes the story so much better.
